We are delighted to announce that Emma Eaton will be joining The Treatment Room offering acupuncture from 21st April on Thursdays from 8am to 6pm.
Acupuncture can be used for a range of health conditions and Emma operates a general practice dealing with common complaints such as anxiety, migraines, back and knee pain. She also has a special interest in supporting women through the fertility journey and those experiencing negative life impacting menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes.
As a method of treating people, acupuncture is widely respected, frequently used and recommended by The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence for back pain and migraines on the NHS. It is currently estimated that 2.3 million people are receiving treatment from British Acupuncture Council members.
The focus of treatment is based on you as an individual, not your illness, and all symptoms are seen in relation to each other. Emma also concentrates on why your symptoms are manifesting and aims to treat the underlying root cause.
To chat about how acupuncture can help you or book an appointment call Emma on 07821 590287 or email her.
After a long corporate career, Emma began retraining as a healthcare practitioner in 2009, initially focusing on reflexology and then acupuncture, graduating from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) with a BSc (hons).
Her style integrates classical Chinese Medicine, contemporary acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Elements and Stems and Branches.
Emma was honoured to be part of the reflexology team at The Fountain Centre, based at the Royal Surrey Hospital Guildford, supporting patients and carers through cancer. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and Association of Reflexologists (AoR).
