Summer Open Evening 2016

You're invited to our open evening on 9th June from 6.30pm

This year’s summer open evening looks set to be our biggest one yet. The evening begins at 6.30pm and ends at 9pm. Entry is free with food, fizz and live music too! Read on to find out more…

The Pineapple Store is a collaboration of seven different independent businesses offering an eclectic range of items you wouldn’t necessarily find on the high street. Since it’s ‘soft launch’ a few months back, this luxury lifestyle store has already built up an impressive and loyal clientele. The summer open evening marks the official launch of the shop with a 10% discount on all purchases to celebrate. Everyone involved in the venture looks forward to welcoming you, including Landscape Designer and Horticulturalist Amanda Evans who has recently taken over the plant sales side of the business.

The Blid & Hatton Food Studio, in the words of co-founder Helga Blid-Martinsson, is “a new concept where people can enjoy and celebrate their love of food.” A fairly recent addition to our courtyard, Blid & Hatton will be offering delicious free samples during the evening of flat breads, dips, crudités and Scandinavian open sandwiches.

Housed in what was once a root shed, The Art Shed is a collective of 14 local artists. The summer open evening forms part of Surrey Artists Open Studios and our artists have been busy creating some beautiful pieces for the event including paintings, sculpture, jewellery, photography, glassware and more. Customers can enjoy a 10% discount on all purchases during the evening.

Florist The White Orchid will join forces with The Hothouse Café and offer wine tastings, nibbles and information on upcoming flower workshops. Nicole from The White Orchid says, “The summer open evening is the perfect opportunity to meet customers old and new and celebrate our move from Weybridge to The Medicine Garden.”

Next Open Evenings: September 15th and November 19th
